Eunice Hewitt Hardee, 83, of Waverly, formerly of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on November 22, 2011. She was a daughter of the late George Wilbur and Isla Rowell Hewitt and the widow of Claudis R. Hardee. She was a member of Wayne United Methodist Church in Georgetown, SC and had retired from the Independent Life Insurance Company after 20 years of employment. After retirement, she settled in Georgetown, SC where she enjoyed her hobbies of cooking, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Beverly Kaye McGary and husband, S.L. "Mac" McGary; son, Terry R. Hardee; grandchildren, Amy Morgan and husband, Jay Morgan, Teresa Hardee, and Jeremy Hardee; great grandchildren, Sarah and Zachary Morgan; sister, Doris Hardee of Longs, SC and a brother, Gary "Bud" Hewitt of Loris, SC.
The family will receive friends at Waverly Baptist Church on Friday, November 25, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm. Burial will be at a later date in South Carolina. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Waverly Health and Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care she received during her stay.
