Eunice Bryant Everett

Capron – Eunice Bryant Everett, 92, passed away August 26, 2026 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband who was the love of her life, H. D. Everett, Jr.; her parents William and Hettie Bryant; son, Barry Wayne Kendrick; and siblings, Johnny Bryant, Sr., Raymond Bryant, and Janet Burgess.

She is survived by her children, Pam Williams (Lin), Debbie Felts (Larry), Donna Darden, Donny Kendrick (Gabi), Susan Robertson (Jessie), Michael Everett (Claudia), David Everett (Carrie), Russell Everett (Krista), Terry Everett (Kathy); grandchildren, Ashley J. Protzman, Jonathan Jarratt, Tate Felts, Kelli F. Eubank, Jody Darden, Shea D. Johnson, Jackie Kendrick, Scott Bryant, Carolyn B. West, Davis Vick, Bryan Vick, Amy E. Hobbs, Jeremy Everett, Michelle Everett, Melissa E. Thomas, Cory Everett, Deric Everett, Clinton Everett, Amber E. Wallace, Jill E. Tyler, Megan E. Light, and Joey Everett; 43 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a special niece, Barbara Renfro (Jimmy); and a special nephew, Alan Drake (Kelley).

Eunice was born in Northampton County, NC and was a member of Joyner Church where she was a valued member of the UMW and an involved member of her church. She was retired from Verizon.

She was an avid reader, loved sewing, gardening and cooking, and was a mentor to her children and family. Eunice was known as “MeMa” by all who knew and loved her. Her faith and love of the Lord was evident in every aspect of the way she lived her life.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2PM Thursday, September 3, 2026 in Joyner Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Joyner Church, c/o Jeannette Everett, 17413 Everett Rd., Capron, VA 23829.

The family would like to give their most heartfelt thanks to grandson Jody Darden, her caretaker; her caregiver, Eileen Everett; Tiffany Faulk-Engram and Destiny Franklin-Coleman with Gentiva Hospice; and all other team members who assisted with her care.
