Eunice Drewry Blythe

Franklin – Eunice Drewry Blythe, 101, passed away August 13, 2026 in Fairview Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Born and raised in Sedley, she was a daughter of the late Clinton McKinley Drewry, Sr. and Harriet Joyner Drewry. She was also predeceased by her husband, Earving Calvin Blythe; four sisters, Lois D. Edwards, Pearl D. Darden, Mary D. Lankford, and Rose D. Whitehead; a brother, C. M. Drewry, Jr.; and a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Blythe.

Eunice was a graduate of Courtland High School and a member of High Street United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter, Kathy Fenwick (Charles) of Orange Park, FL; three sons, Earving Lee Blythe of Blacksburg, Wayne Blythe (Beth) of Franklin, and Newitt Blythe of Franklin; a brother, Elliott Drewry of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Drew Blythe (Anna), Carrie Fox (Jay), Melissa Ripepi (Nino), Charles Fenwick III, Dillon Blythe (Paige), Sara Fenwick, and Harrison Blythe (Elizabeth); and ten great grandchildren, Luca Ripepi, Antonin Ripepi, Samuel Ripepi, Gillian Green Blythe, Walker Blythe, Blakely Fox, Elan Fox, Xander Fox, Jackson Blythe, and Quinn Blythe.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM Sunday, August 16, 2026 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Obenchain officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to High Street United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 218, Franklin, VA 23851.
