Courtland – Ethel Mildred Lee, 93, passed away August 19, 2021 in Accordius Health at Courtland.  Born August 17, 1928, she was a native of Southampton County and was the daughter of the late Willie Oliver Hand and Lelia Story Hand.  She was also predeceased by her husband, Jesse Willis Lee, and a son, Forrest Lee.

Left to cherish her memory is two daughters, Cynthia Lee of Wilmington, NC, and Penny Lee of Courtland; a son, Charles Lee of Boykins; six grandchildren, Jessica Outland (Brad), Cort Johnson, Ethan Lee, and Dalton, Elizabeth and Emily Vann; and five great grandchildren, Cecelia Outland, Paislee Edwards, Liam Outland, Elliana Lee-Espiritu, and Reece Espiritu.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM Monday, August 23, 2021 at Windsor Seventh Day Adventist Church with Samuel C. Moore officiating.    The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the church.
