Sebrell, VA – Ester Smith Babb, 62, passed away December 26, 2011 at Sentara Louise Obici Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was born in Franklin and was predeceased by her father, Rupert Dean Smith.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 38 ½ years, Tom Babb; daughter, Tracy B. Mattox; son, T.J. Babb; mother, Berta Johnson Smith; brother, Ronnie D. Smith and her grandchildren, Katie Marie Mattox and Carlee Rae Babb.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Barn Tavern Cemetery, Sebrell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, December 28th from 7 to 8:30 pm and suggest memorial contributions may be made to Susan G.
