Ivor – Eric Neal Singer, 70, passed away September 6, 2022 in Southampton Memorial Hospital.   He was born in Patuxent River, Maryland, grew up Ada, Ohio, and was a son of the late Roy Neal Singer and Judith Montgomery Singer.  He was also predeceased by a sister, Deanna Basquez.

Eric was a graduate of Kellam High School in Virginia Beach and a Navy Veteran.  He was a Corporate Plant Engineer for General Foam Plastics Corporation in Norfolk.  Eric attended Black Creek Baptist Church and was a member of Black Creek Hunt Club.  Hunting, fishing, and coin collecting were his passions and he was an excellent cook.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 29 years, Susan Woodward Singer; two sons, Jeremy Singer (Cathy) and Jerrod Singer (Stella), all of Chesapeake; two sisters, Marla Heyman (Danny) of Painter, VA and Brenda Cheney (Ronnie) of Ada, OH; three brothers, Bill Singer of IL, Phillip Singer (Becky) of PA, and Dennis Singer (Siggi) of Germany; four grandchildren, Jacey, Jackson, Carly and Cidney Singer; a host of loving nieces and nephews; and his dog Katie.

A celebration of Eric's life will be held at a later date.  The family will receive friends at the residence and suggests memorial donations be made to a favorite charity.
