Courtland – Emmett Douglas "Doug" Stewart, Jr., 68, passed away April 3, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Norfolk and was predeceased by his mother, Virginia Burnette Stewart.
Left to cherish his memory is his father, Emmett Douglas Stewart, Sr.; two daughters, Shelley Blankinship (Donald) and Suzanne Carter; two sons, Scott D. Stewart and Charles B. Wood; and one granddaughter, Eva Blankinship.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 am Friday, April 8, 2011, at Olive Branch Cemetery in Portsmouth. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, has charge of arrangements.
