Courtland – Emily Elizabeth Mobley, 87, passed away peacefully March 28, 2019 in her home.  Raised in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Benjamin and Ema Ross Tyer.  Emily was the widow of William Matthew Mobley and also predeceased by two sons Johnnie J. Mobley and Clifton R. Mobley.  She was a Baptist.

Left to cherish her memory is a daughter Christine E. Guerra (Jack); four sons Bill Mobley (Darlene), Joe Mobley (Penny), Mike Mobley, and Billy Mobley; eight grandchildren Mary Ann Turner, Tammy Rodriguez, David Guerra, Jon Mobley, Mickel Mobley, Jr., Adam Mobley, Ashley Mobley, and Mackenzie Mobley; and twelve great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. David Roberts officiating.  Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggest that Memorial Donations be made to Courtland Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
