Franklin – Elvin Price "Butch" Thomas, Jr., 79, passed away November 7, 2021 in his home.  Born in Moorefield, WV, he was a son of the late Elvin Price Thomas, Sr. and Lillian Riggleman Thomas.  He was also predeceased by a sister, Helen Mullens and a a brother, Phillip Thomas.

Elvin was a Navy veteran and a pipefitter for Norfolk Naval Shipyard.  He was a member of Kingdom Impact Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 55 years, Ruth Elizabeth Thomas; two daughters, Penny T. Stubbs (Carl) and Teresa T. Clark (Michael); a son Tommy Thomas (Michele); a sister, Linda T. Sykes (Clyde); two half sisters, Frances Rawles and Phyllis Brock; two half brothers, John and Bobby Thomas; six grandchildren, Alyssa, Alexander, Taylor, Madison, Zachery, and Jordyn; and four great grandchildren, McKenzie, Malaya, Aidyn, and Jaxon.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in Kingdom Impact Church with Pastor Matt Kidd officiating.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in Windsor Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Tuesday in Wright Funeral Home.
