Eloise Hedgebeth Vick, 90, widow of Herman Edward Vick, Sr., passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at her residence. She was a native of Holland, VA and was a daughter of the late Claude Hedgebeth and Susie Scott Hedgebeth. She was also predeceased by a son, Herman Edward Vick, Jr., an infant son, James Claude Vick, a sister, Odelle Holland and a brother, Claude Hedgebeth, Jr.

Mrs. Vick was a member of Holland Baptist Church, a graduate of Holland High School and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Shackelford and her husband Lee of Prattville ,AL, one son, Billy Vick and his wife Joyce of Holland, one sister, Doris Gomer of Suffolk, six grandchildren, Sherry Gaetani and husband Tony, Wayne Vick and wife Teresa, Jason Vick, Jennifer Carlson and husband Keith, Meagan Vick, Amy Sing and husband Troy and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev. Robert Bunn officiating. Burial will follow at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held Monday from 6:30 to 8 PM at the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to any favorite charity. The family would like to thank the staff of the Village at Woods Edge for their wonderful care over the last eight years.
