Franklin – Ellen Francis Gyoker, 76, passed away January 8, 2018 in her home. Ellen was a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Helen Story Francis and was also predeceased by a son Brent F. Gyoker, a sister Mary E. Dunlow and a brother Joe B. Francis.

Ellen was a graduate of Newsoms High School and retired from the Peanut Growers Co-Op in Franklin after 40 years of service. She was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son Joseph Paul "Bucky" Gyoker, III and his wife Renee, one brother Roy R. Francis, five grandchildren, Joseph Paul Gyoker, IV (Emily) Shane Gyoker (Jordan), Tyler Gyoker, Chelsey Herman and Chad Herman, two great grandchildren, Samantha Gyoker and Hannah Gyoker and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 4 PM Thursday January 11, 2018 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Roger Crump officiating. Burial will be private and in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Sycamore Baptist Church. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
