Pendleton, NC – Ella Beverly Walter Everett, 87, widower of Bruce Eugene Everett, Sr., passed away June 7, 2022 in her home with her family by her side.  Born in Yonkers, NY, she was a daughter of the late John and Julia Harrilek Walter.  She was also predeceased by a daughter, Carol Everett, and a sister Lillian Farina and her husband Mario.

Ella was a 1952 graduate of Commerce High School in Yonkers, NY.  She was a former secretary for Esso Oil Company and a former teacher's aide and substitute teacher.  She attended St. Borromeo Catholic Church in Ahoskie, NC.

Left to cherish her memory is two sons, Bruce E. Everett, Jr. (Brenda) and John R. Everett (Terry); a daughter, Barbara McGrath (Carey); a step brother, Joseph Avezanno (Mickey); a very special friend and caregiver, Lois Haggerty; five grandchildren, Rebecca Hart (Will), Harold "Trey" McGrath (Rebecca), Michael Everett, Michael Hash (Nikita), and Brandy Waldroup (Brandon); ten great grandchildren, Micah, Levi, and Noah McGrath, Harper Hart, Connor, Austin, and Emma Waldroup, and Vance, Lilly and Madison Hash; and a nephew, Gregory Everett.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3PM Saturday, June 11, 2022 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Johnson officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.
