Boykins – Elizabeth Ann "Beth" Turner Thur, 51, passed away March 7, 2018. Beth was born in Suffolk and grew up in Boykins. She was a 1984 graduate of Southampton High School and a 1986 graduate of the School of Nursing at Halifax Community College. She was a registered nurse at Sentara Obici Hospital and a member of Boykins Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Edward S. Thur; two sons Seth M. Stallard and Taylor D. Stallard; parents Wallace and Betty Buckner Turner; and brother Richard Scott Turner.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 in the Boykins Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Biggers officiating. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Boykins Baptist Church.
