Carrsville- Elizabeth Stein Rountree, 79, widow of Manley Edward Rountree, passed away May 4, 2012. A native a Toledo, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late John Francis and Catherine Heller Stein and was retired from retail sales.
Left to cherish her memory are her five daughters, Patricia Dalton of Suffolk, Cynthia Holland (Les), Carol Lane, and Pamela Jones, all of Windsor and Jane Castello (Mike) of Suffolk; two sons, John Rountree of Atlanta and William Ray Rountree (Lisa) of Suffolk; a brother, Jack Stein (Terry) of Toledo, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 7PM Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at The Pentecostal Followers of Christ Church at 6018 Whaleyville Blvd, Suffolk, VA 23038 (757-986-2031) with Pastor Maurice Bynum officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made toward funeral expenses to Wright Funeral Home, P.O. Box 743, Franklin, VA 23851.
