Franklin – Elizabeth Griffin Dundalow DePriest, 91, widow of Earl David Dundalow and Louis Hervie DePriest, died November 27, 2010 at Colonial Heights Healthcare Center. She was born In Southampton County, a daughter of the late Florence Allie Grant and John Robert Griffin, and was predeceased by a son, Bobby Thomas Dundalow; three sisters, and four brothers. She was a retired dairy farm manager and a member of Sycamore Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Carl David Dundalow and Carroll Morgan Dundalow; a daughter-in-law, Carolyn H. Dundalow; two grandchildren, David T. Dundalow (Joanna) and Rev. Jonathan A. Dundalow (Cindy); and two great-grandchildren, Morgan T. Dundalow and Timothy E. Dundalow; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3 pm Monday, November 29, 2010 at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Jonathan A. Dundalow officiating. Interment will follow at Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and suggest memorials be made to Sycamore Baptist Church, 31120 Sycamore Church Road, Franklin, VA. 23851.
