Edwin B. Fast, Jr.'s Obituary
Franklin- Edwin B. Fast, 86, died January 3, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. A resident of Franklin and Blacksburg, he is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sue, daughter, Margaret Scott "Scottie" Phillips and her husband Mark, grandson, Blakely Thomas Phillips and his wife Sarah of Ashland, granddaughter, Margaret Shelton "Maggie" Phillips of Roanoke. Ed was predeceased by an only son, Edwin B. Fast, III.
Ed served in the US Army and Naval Reserve and was a Deacon in the Presbyterian Church. The family requests that remembrances be sent to the Franklin Presbyterian Church, 405 Lee Street, Franklin, VA 23851.
A celebration of Thanksgiving for Ed's life will be celebrated at a later date. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
