Franklin- Edith Boykin Creech, 84, widow of Joseph Elbert Creech, passed away April 19, 2012 at her home. Born in Johnston County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late William Milton and Addie Grice Boykin. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Vivian Krieg, and her son, John D. Creech, both of Franklin; sister, Millie B. Creech of Kinston, NC; four grandchildren, Stephen, Stephanie, Robert and Jonathan and eight great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2012 in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Greg Kitts officiating. Burial will follow in Black Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home and suggests memorials be made to Black Creek Baptist Church.
