Franklin – Dorothy Bailey "Dot" Gelhaus, 88, died April 3, 2017, at her home at The Village at Woods Edge. Dot was born on the family farm in Handsom, VA ,and was a daughter of the late Tilman Vann Bailey and Rosa Francis Bailey. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Alese B. Tucker and Vivian B. Kaikas and three brothers, Aubrey, Kenneth and T.V. Bailey and her husband of 56 years who passed away September 1, 2005, Kenneth John Gelhaus.

Dot was a retired Dental Assistant and a member of Hunterdale Christian Church.

Survivors include one sister, Bessie B. Johnson, one brother, William C. Bailey (Virginia Ann) and a large extended family.

A private family service will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 at Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. Don Rosie officiating. Memorial donations may be made to The Village at Woods Edge for Asa's Neighborhood. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
