Franklin – Donna Jean Meyers, 72, passed away April 25, 2017 at Naval Regional Medical Center in Portsmouth. Donna was a Navy wife and a life member of the Sgt. Jayton D. Patterson VFW Post #4411, Franklin, VA.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 39 years, Kevin L. Meyers STGCM (SW)U.S.N.(Retired), three daughters, Jeannie Dunlow (Michael), Sandra Colden and Kimberly Meyers, one son, Michael Ringer, 12 grandchildren, Beaux and Travis Thompson, Kristan and Tony Cobb, IV, Sean, Trevor and Kakoa Colden, Vanessa, Vanity, August, Justin and Michael Ringer, two great grandchildren, Indie Rae Proffer and Caleb Owen Thompson.

She was predeceased by her father, Owen Haggerman.

A funeral will be conducted at 7PM Friday April 28, 2017 in Wright Funeral Home with Chaplain Tim Cormany officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A reception will be at VFW Post #4411 following the service. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
