Richmond – Donna Faye Cox, 50, died February 10, 2010 in Abingdon, Va. Donna was born in Richlands, Va., reared in Honaker, Va., and a former resident of Franklin, Va. She was a U. S. Air Force veteran, and presently a registered nurse at Fresenius Medical Care in Richmond. She was predeceased by her parents, William Cannie Cox and Evelyn Fields Cox Horn.
Left to cherish her memory are her life partner, Ellen Morrison and her mother, Natalie Morrison, both of Richmond, Va.; two sisters, Diana C. Cutchins (Bobby) and Pam C. Lease (Dave); one brother, Scott W. Cox, all of Franklin, Va.; her special nieces and nephews, Robby Cutchins (Amy), Tonya Cornwell (Adam), Heather Dann, Morgan Cox, Dylan Cox, and Colby Lou Lease.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:30 pm Saturday, February 13, 2010, at the Rock Church of Franklin, 130 Lakeview Drive, Franklin, Va. 23851, with Danny Dillon officiating.
