Suffolk – Donald Lee Wood, 81, passed away April 14, 2022 at his home after a long illness. He was a son of the late John Oliver Wood, Sr., and Mildred Ann Holland Wood. He was also predeceased by a daughter, Debbie Harrup and a son, David Harrup, brothers, Glenn, John and Tom Wood.

Don was a retired Produce Manager for Winn Dixie Grocery Stores and a member of Holland Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is a daughter, Gwen Cross, two sons, Dennis Harrup and Kevin Wood, three sisters, Judy Rogers, Patsy W. Price (Charles) and Sue W. Powell (James), one brother Dexter Wood (Pinkie) and seven grandchildren, Marsha, Tracey, Corrinne, Brian, Shawn, Caitlin, and Kevin, Jr. and eight great grandchildren, C.J., William, Ryan, Kiara, Ariana, Dante, Brendon and Odin and one sister in law Margie Wood.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7 PM Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Holland Baptist Church with Pastor Matthew Johnson, officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Holland Baptist Church, 6519 Holland Road, Suffolk, VA 23437.
