Ahoskie – Donald Ryan Cline, 28, passed away October 29. Born in Canton, OH, Ryan graduated from Gates County High School where he played varsity football and baseball and was a 2009 graduate of Chowan University with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. He worked at Metal Tech and attended Reynoldson Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Donald Raymond Cline and Michele Sutphin Cline; one brother, Gage Cline of Gates, NC; two sisters, Chelsey Cline of Massillon, OH and Crystle Cline of Franklin, VA; maternal grandfather, William Sutphin of Massillon, OH; maternal grandmother, Faye Eldreth (Reggie) of Franklin, VA; paternal grandmother, Brenda Patterson of WV; uncles and aunts, Bob and Denise Cline of OH, Shane and Jill Sutphin of Gates, NC, Ray Cline and Darlene Cline of WV and his fiancé, Leanne Richmond and several cousins.
