Courtland- Donald Lee Raiford, 64, and Vanessa Robinson Raiford, 59, passed away at home February 8, 2016. Donald was a retired pipefitter in the Maintenance Dept. of Union Camp Corporation and Vanessa was a retired nurse. They were members of Burdette Baptist Church.

Left to cherish their memory is their son, Casey L. Raiford (Penny), four grandchildren, Ava, Elena, Kaley and Jason; Vanessa's father , Joe Kaiser Robinson, her brother, Craig Robinson (Jackie) and their son, Justin; Donald's sister, Judy Gilmore (Clark) and brother, Ronald "Winkey" Raiford (Martha) and Donald's numerous nieces and nephews.

Donald and Vanessa were predeceased by a son, Donald Keith Raiford. Donald was also predeceased by his parents, Lee Monroe Raiford and Myrtle Marie Ellis Raiford, and a brother, Lloyd Raiford. Vanessa was predeceased by her mother, Vadie Louise Hobbs Robinson.

The funeral will be held at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, at 1PM on Saturday, February 13, 2016 with the Rev. Larry Cribb officiating. Burial will follow in Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 PM Friday at the funeral home and other times at the home, 22170 Southampton Parkway.
