Courtland – Derek Brown Foster, 36, passed away October 30, 2018.  He was a son of the late Anita Vaughan Foster and was also predeceased by maternal grandfather Richard Lee Vaughan and paternal grandmother Clara Ann Foster.   Derek was born in Franklin and was a 2000 graduate of Southampton High School.

Left to cherish his memory is his father Ronnie Lee Foster (Margaret); his son Reed Gilley; four brothers Daryl Foster (Nikki), Stuart Doughtie, Jr., Curtis Doughtie (Stephanie), and Michael Vandiford (Brittney); paternal grandfather Shirley Foster (Caroline Jernigan); maternal grandmother Mary Betty Vaughan; an aunt Toni Vaughan Joyner; three uncles Michael Foster (Stacie), Ricky Vaughan (Kristy), and Keith Vaughan (Melissa); and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held at 2 PM Monday, November 5, 2018 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. James H.
