Franklin – Dennis Wayne Tucker, 60, formerly of Virginia Beach, passed away suddenly on January 9, 2008. A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Elsie Fleming Tucker and the late William Coke Tucker, Jr. A Navy veteran of the Viet Nam Era, Dennis was a former Norfolk policeman and was employed by the Target Corporation. He was a member of the Windsor Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jacqueline Perchalla Tucker; one daughter, Lisa Marie Tucker; two sons, Devin Tucker and Darrin Tucker; a step-daughter, Cindy Dooley; one brother, Bill Tucker; and one grandson, Matthew Mepham.
The funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Windsor Seventh Day Adventist Church with the Chaplain David Garidian, Captain, USN, officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home and suggests memorials be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church, P. O.
