Como, NC – Debora Gibson Turner, 67, passed away July 12, 2026 in her home with her family by her side.  Born in Ahoskie and raised in Murfreesboro, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert "Hoot" and Robin Underwood Gibson and was also predeceased by a brother, John Gibson.

Debora was a graduate of Murfreesboro High School and a scheduler for Amcor in Ahoskie.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 33 years, Ross Allen Turner, her son, Tyler Turner, and two sisters, Patricia Collupy (Dave) of Williamsburg, VA and Donna Robbins of Murfreesboro, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM Friday, July 17, 2026 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Reynold Galdini officiating.
