Virginia Beach – David Austin Patriquin, 86, passed away February 24, 2019. David was born in Farmington, Maine to the late Carl A. and Dorothy M Patriquin and was also predeceased by his brother Layton H. Patriquin who died as a POW in North Korea in 1951; his wife of 55 years Marilyn Fraser Patriquin; and his daughter Michelle Patriquin.

David was educated in the Farmington Falls School System and was a 1951 graduate of Farmington High School.  He attended Thomas and Burdett Business College before enlisting in the US Navy in 1955 where he retired after 20 years of service.  David then worked for Sears and Roebuck until retiring in 1993.  He enjoyed bowling and he umpired softball and baseball for 25 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons Scott Patriquin and Todd Patriquin (Lisa Carpenito); nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
