Franklin – David Henry Hunnings, 61, died March 21, 2010 at his residence with his family at his side. He was born in Franklin, a son of the late George Lee and Bonnie Mae Guyton Hunnings and was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and James Hunnings. David was a Marine Corps veteran, a foreman with Franklin Equipment Company, and a Baptist.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Vickie Mullins Hunnings; a daughter, Melissa H. Lewis; a son, David Lee Hunnings, all of Franklin; one brother, Mike Hunnings of Suffolk; one sister-in-law, Marla Hunnings; and eight grandchildren.
A graveside service, with military honors, will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday at Poplar Spring Cemetery. Wright Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
