Courtland – David Junious Fowler, Jr., 61, passed away July 14, 2019.  Born in Suffolk and a lifelong resident of Southampton County, he was a son of the late David Junious Fowler, Sr. and Alice Hayes Fowler.  He was also predeceased by a daughter Carla Fowler, a sister Toni Elaine Fowler, and a brother James Roland Fowler.  David was a retired clamp truck driver for the Roll Finishing Department at International Paper.  He loved to hunt and fish.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda Blythe Fowler; daughter Tina F. Vaughan (Brian); a sister Joan F. Taint (Tim); three brothers John Wayne Fowler (Kelly), Daniel Lee "Dukie" Fowler, and Willie C. "Dillie" Fowler (Terri); two grandchildren Carla Grayson Vaughan and Carson David "Davi" Vaughan; and his beloved dogs Shelby and Izzy.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM Friday, July 19, 2019 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. James H. Hyatt, Jr. officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O.
