Franklin – David Jonathan Cross, 31, passed away June 16, 2008. He was born in Franklin and was a former employee of Drake Tire Company and a former tree surgeon. He was a kind, loving, sweet young man that will be greatly missed by all of his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Cynthia Lynn Myers Lewis of Chesapeake; his father, David Cross of Franklin; sister, Melissa Jean Cross Cherry of Norfolk; brother, Jeremiah Justin Lewis of Chesapeake; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Roger Crump and the Rev. Leigh Ray officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
