Courtland – David Wayne Brown, 67, passed away September 19, 2021 in his home with family by his side.   Born in Norfolk on November 28, 1953, he was predeceased by his step-father that raised him, Rudolph Emerson Delfenthal.

David was an Army Veteran and a mechanic.  He was a collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia and all things Snap-On Tools.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Sandra O'Berry Brown; his mother, Eva Mae Smith Delfenthal of Chesapeake; two daughters, Bonny Lucasti Bracy (Kevin) of Sedley and Shannon Brown of Ohio; a son, Randy Brown of Ohio; a sister, Lynette Conaway of Chesapeake; a brother Rudolph E. Delfenthal, Jr. of Chesapeake; four grandchildren, Alex M. Dunlow, Lyndsay N. Dunlow, Autumn Shearer and Jaden Shearer; and two great grandchildren, Jayce and Tobias Dunlow.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM Sunday, September 26, 2021 in Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Darwin Edwards officiating.  The family suggests that memorial donations be made to any favorite charity.
