Franklin- Thurman Davis "Dave" Copeland, 58, passed away February 10, 2021. He was born in Norfolk, a graduate of Franklin High School and Virginia Tech. He loved spending time on the river and spending time with his three children. He was an avid barefoot skier and enjoyed working in the boat industry.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving children, daughter Mary Nicole Copeland, his twin sons, Christopher Davis Copeland and James Broaddus Copeland, his parents, Ann and Graham Copeland, two brothers, Peter F. Copeland and wife Vicky, and Jeffery G. Copeland and wife Susan, and a niece and two nephews. Dave was predeceased by his former wife and mother of his children, Pam.

Memorial services will be held in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, on Sunday February 21 at 2pm. The family asks individuals who are attending the service to bring a mask and social distance.
