Sandy Hook – Dannie Ray Sutton, Sr., 71, formerly of Franklin passed away August 11, 2018, in St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond. Born in Middlesboro, KY, he was a son of the late Willie and Rosetta McNew Sutton. Dannie was a retired Area Supervisor for Hercules, Inc. with 43 ½ years of service and was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 53 years Linda Young Sutton; two sons Dannie R. Sutton, Jr. (Christy) and Jeff Sutton; two brothers Billy Sutton (Debbie) and Jack Sutton (Cathy); two grandchildren Andy and Brad Sutton; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 2 PM Friday, August 17, 2018 in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with Rev. Curtis Faison officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to The American Diabetes Association, P. O.
