Franklin – Cynthia Nowell Turner, 71, passed away July 20, 2017 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Cindy was a native of Suffolk and was born on January 29, 1946 in North Carolina and was adopted to parents, Ralph and Ellen Smith. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 45 years Perry Turner, Sr., a cousin Sue Moore "Sue Baby" and her grandson Jonathan Allen.

She was an active member of Rock Church in Franklin.

Cindy is survived by her daughters, Lisa McKinney (Ed), Kimberly Smullen (Steven), Jennifer Allen (Bradley, Sr.) and Lori Walters, her son Perry Turner, Jr. (Donna), fourteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6PM on Monday July 24, 2017 at The Rock Church of Franklin with Pastor Danny Dillon officiating.
