Corinne Anne Wirt

Franklin – Corinne Anne “Honey” Wirt, 86, passed away September 5, 2026 in her home. Born and raised in Norfolk, she was the daughter of the late Charles Frank Lowry and Mary Eugenia Morris Lowry.

Corinne was a graduate of Great Bridge High School and a member of Franklin Congregational Christian Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 68 years, Robert Charles Wirt; a daughter, Lisa Wirt Dunlow (Jimmy); three sons, Robert Matthew “Matt” Wirt, Mark Landis Wirt (Chandra), and Marshall Andrew Wirt (Sophie); eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 2 to 4PM Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Franklin Congregational Christian Church.
