Corbett Benjamin "Ski" Fitzgerald, Jr., 56, passed away January 9, 2013 peacefully at his home. Mr. Fitzgerald a native of Lynchburg, VA, was an Army Veteran and had a lawn care business, which he ran until he was disabled. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Ben Fitzgerald and wife Darby; one daughter Rachael Fitzgerald; three brothers, Curtis, Joe, and Nick; three sisters, Tina, Debbie and Bonita; and seven grandchildren, Julian, Ashlyn, Tyler, Bryson, Trevor, Lilian, and London.
A private memorial service for friends and family will be held Saturday, January 12, 2013 at 2pm at Ben's residence, 26105 Guy Place Rd., Courtland, VA 23837. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
