Franklin – Conway Rice Johnson, 78, died July 19, 2009 at MCV in Richmond. Mrs. Johnson was born in Fishersville, a daughter of the late Hildreth Camp and Mattie Fitzhugh Rice. She was a graduate of Longwood College and a member of Franklin Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Asa B. Johnson, Jr.; a son, Asa Bush "Bud" Johnson, III, of Auburn, Me; a sister-in-law, Polly Johnson Rowlett of Williamsburg; a niece, Dorothy R. Harding of Wilmington, DE; and a nephew, John B. Rowlett of Burke.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am Thursday at Poplar Spring Cemetery with the Rev. Fred McCall and the Rev. Edmund Pickup officiating.
