Capron, VA – Clarence Carson "CC" Vick, 69, passed away on December 14, 2011 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Born in Northampton County, NC, he was a son of the late Hugh Thomas Vick, Sr. and Lucy Lewter Vick. He was a retired truck driver from Birdsong Peanut.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Karen Carroll Carr of Capron and Linda Carroll of Havelock, NC; sons, Melvin L. Vick and wife, Karen of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Calvin C. Johnson and his wife, Trish of Pensacola, FL; sister, Kay Piccolo of Toms River, NJ; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Wright Funeral Home Rev. James H. Hyatt, Jr. officiating. Inurnment will be private at Southampton Memorial Park. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
