Ivor – Clara Johnson Duke, 60, loving wife and mother, passed away at home October 28, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late William H. and Peggy Talley Johnson.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Buckley Wayne Duke; sons, Billy Duke, and wife, Stephanie and Michael Duke, and wife, Fran; five grandchildren, Dylan, Wyatt, Tyler, Sterling and Zack Duke, and brother, William "Bootie" Johnson, and wife, Florence, and their children Chris and Amber Johnson.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev. Greg Kitts officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home and suggest memorials be made to your favorite Relay for Life team or the American Cancer Society, c/o Kathy Worrell, 717 Fairview Drive, Franklin, VA 23851.
