Washington, NC – Charlie Thomas "Tommy" Kee, Jr., 67, passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2023.  Born in Roanoke Rapids and raised in Branchville, he was a son of the late Charlie Thomas Kee, Sr. and Shirley Lee Kee.

Tommy was a graduate of Southampton High School and was retired from the Mechanical Maintenance department at Hercules.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Evelyn Kee; two daughters, Christy K. Green (Michael) of Courtland and Jennifer K. Thomas (Shawn) of Elizabeth City; two brothers, Alan Kee (Laura) and Jerry Kee (Karen); and three grandchildren, Joshua Gibson, Johnathan Kirk, and Jaxon Thomas.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 6 to 8PM in Wright Funeral Home and suggests that memorial donations may be made to any favorite charity.
