Franklin – Charles David Malcolm, Sr., 73, passed away January 5, 2021 in his home surrounded by his family.  Born in Athens, GA, he was a son on the late Chester Andrew Malcolm and Eunice Mae Hudson Malcolm.  Charles was also predeceased by a son Ernest Herbert "Herbie" Echols, Jr. and a brother Chester Andrew Malcolm, Jr.

Charles was an Army Veteran and a retired Door Corp with the Waffle House.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debbie Malcolm; three sons, Charles David "Chuck" Malcolm Jr. (Cindy), Jeffery Lanier "Jeff" Malcolm (Becky), and Chadwick Thomas "Chad" Malcolm (Andrea); a daughter, Melisa Carriles (Robert); a daughter-in-law, Kathy Echols; a sister Betty Marie Arnold; 21 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

Services will be private.
