Obituary

Franklin – Charles Lyndon "Chuck" Hollowell, 62, passed away May 14, 2007. Born in Portsmouth, he was a son of Janice Blythe Hollowell and the late Robert Edward Hollowell. Chuck was a retired millwright, a former national guardsman, and a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Windsor, is his daughter, Heidi H, Denson and husband, Jared, of Franklin; his longtime friend and companion, Pat Marks Cox; one sister, Barbara Jo Trinite and husband, Chris, of Richmond; one brother, Fred D. Hollowell and wife, Maxine, of Franklin; and his special children, Eric D. Cox and Gabrielle D. Cox, both of Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday at Poplar Spring Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Blythe officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Wednesday at Wright Funeral Home and suggest memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Kathy Worrell, 717 Fairview Drive, Franklin, Va. 23851 or Hunterdale United Church of Christ, 741 Hunterdale Road, Franklin, Va. 23851.
