Suffolk- Charles Clancy Carson, Jr., 88, passed away May 25, 2015 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was a native of Martin County, NC and a son of the late Charles Clancy and Myrtle Lee Thomas Carson and was predeceased by his wife Mary Virginia Luter Carson. He was the retired owner of Carson's Grocery Store and a US Navy Veteran of WWII.

Survivors include a sister, Marie C. Rose of Portsmouth, cousins and best friend and caregiver, Juanita Sydnor.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 29, 2015 at Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 PM Thursday at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
