Franklin – Charles Byron "C.B." Moore, 72, passed away March 25, 2017 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. C.B. was born in Norfolk the son of the late Marvin Z. and Inez Hobbs Moore and was also predeceased by a sister, Judith Moore Harrison.

He was a 1963 graduate of Granby High School, attended Old Dominion University and was a United States Marine Corp Veteran.

C.B. was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and was a Certified Insurance Counselor with Manry-Rawls Insurance Corporation.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 47 years, Kathleen Falls Moore, a daughter, Lisa Moore Mitchell and her husband Clay of Gates, NC, a twin sister, Brenda Moore Williams of Virginia Beach and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11AM Tuesday March 28, 2017 at St. Jude Catholic Church with Fr. Charles Saglio officiating. Burial will be private at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery, Norfolk, VA. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church or the American Heart Association. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
