Franklin – Cathy Best Jones, 64, passed away April 27, 2020 at Newport News Nursing Home and Rehab Center.  She was a native of Franklin and was a daughter of the late Harry Lee Best and Mary Frances Campbell Best.  Cathy was a 1974 graduate of Franklin High School.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Roger Dale Jones, a daughter, Angela Jones Radford (Vernon) of Franklin, a son Chad Davis Jones (Melissa) of Franklin, two sisters Yvonne Slye (Gerald) of Colosse and MaryLee Garrett (Mike ) of Henderson, NC, five grandchildren, Winter Radford, Noah Jones, Reed Jones, Elijah Radford, and Eden Jones, her best friend Vanessa K. Jones, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Tidewater Autism Society of America, 4605 Pembroke Lake Circle, Ste. 202, Virginia Beach, VA 23455.

A service will be held at a later date.
