Virginia Beach – Catherine E. Greene, 90, passed away December 8, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. Mrs. Greene was a daughter of the late Claude and Blanche March Davidson and was predeceased by her husband Ernest E. Greene. She was also predeceased by a son Roger E. Greene, three sisters. Margaret Johnson, Florence Bradley and Eva Greene and two brothers, J.C. and Herbert Davidson.

Mrs. Greene attended Immanuel Baptist Church.

A good and Christian woman and devoted mother, she leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Marie Blakeley and husband Bill of Virginia Beach and Frances Wilcox and husband Joel of Chattanooga, TN, one brother Claude Davidson, Jr. of Moyock, NC and seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

A funeral will be held at 1 PM Tuesday December 12, 2017 in Wright Funeral Home, 206 West 4 ^th Ave., Franklin, VA with the Rev. Dave Libengood officiating. The burial will follow at Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11 to 1 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
