Obituary

Courtland – Cassidy "Cass" Lee Creech, 26, unexpectedly passed away on June 17, 2022.

Born in Franklin on August 21, 1995, he was a son of Yvonne Cutchin Creech and the late Rudy Dale Creech, of Carrsville.

Cass was a 2014 graduate of Windsor High School and an Eagle Scout. During high school, he also received his Heavy Equipment Operator Certificate from The Pruden Center. Cass enjoyed his work as a skidder for Jerry D. Rose, Inc. and was recently promoted to working as a cutter.

Those who know and love Cass would agree that he was a very caring and mild-mannered person that always went above and beyond for the good of others. His calming, empathetic personality would touch your soul and genuinely make you feel loved and happy. His heartwarming smile and goofy grin will forever be missed.

Left to cherish Cass's memory are his wife, Christina Matthews Creech, daughter, Bradlea Nicole Wrenn, and his son, Sawyer Knox Creech. As well as his mother,  Yvonne Cutchin Creech, brother, Cody Creech (Sara), grandmother, Peggy "NaNa"Cutchin; father-in-law David Matthews and mother-in-law Jeanne, sister-in-law, Allison Matthews, brother-in-law Daniel Matthews; nephews Jackson and Charlie, a niece, Marlie and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Wright Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in Southampton Memorial Park with Rev. Tim Webb officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
