Franklin –Carrie Marian Lang, 64, widow of Dale Marshall Lang, died May 1, 2010 at Sentara Obici Hospital. A native of Welch, WV, she was predeceased by her mother, Mary Jane Marian and a sister, Constance Imler. Mrs. Lang was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tammy Bryant (Joseph) of Ivor; three sons, John Schultz (Melissa) and G. Edward Gates (Cathy), both of Las Vegas, NV, and Jon William Lang (Lacy) of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Veronica Fink of Amherst; one brother, Edward Hanner of Bedford; and eight grandchildren, Melinda Dale Dixon, Katie Jo Bryant, Marshall Wayne Bryant, John Patrick Schultz, Alisha Schultz, Dale Edward Gates, Kegan Noel Lang, and Trent Marshall Lang.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
