Franklin – Carolyn Gertrude Nicely Harvey, 92, passed away April 10, 2013 at her home at The Village at Woods Edge. Born in Covington, VA, she a daughter of the late Elmer and Beulah Cook Nicely. Mrs. Harvey was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, James Atrill Harvey, Sr. and a sister, Marion, and brother, Garland Nicely. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, James A. Harvey, Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Marietta, GA and their son, James A. Harvey, III and Dennis Lee Harvey and his wife, Debra, of Virginia Beach, VA and their children, Amanda and Austin Harvey.
A graveside service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, April 14, 2013 in Poplar Spring Cemetery with the Rev. John Ashley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Wright Funeral Home. www.wrightfuneralhome.org.
