Capron – Carol Cobb Bain, 54, passed away peacefully at her home November 2, 2014. A lifelong resident of Southampton County, she was a daughter of the late Edward Lee and Emogene Duncan Cobb. She was a 1978 graduate of Southampton Academy and attended NC State University. Carol loved animals, especially dogs and horses.

A farmer's daughter and a farmer's wife, she leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 32 years, Thomas Henry Bain; two sons, Andrew Duncan Bain (Amy) of Capron and Scott Churchill Bain of Suffolk; two sisters, Glenna Cobb Canada (Ed), of Courtland and Linda Sue Cobb of Burlington, NC and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with Pastor Nancy Palmer officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Glenna and Ed Canada at 20648 River Road in Courtland and suggests that memorial donations, in memory of Carol, be made to any favorite charity.
